2" Nickel-Plated Brass Ship's Bell
A ship's bell is a traditional bell on a ship that is used to mark the passage of time and to signal events such as change of watch or meal times. The bell is typically rung every half hour, and eight bells mark the end of a four-hour watch. The 2-inch diameter nickel-plated brass ship's bell is a decorative item, rather than an actual boat bell and can be attached under a desk, by your bedside, or at an entrance. The rope ringer allows for the bell to be rung manually. The detachable mounting bracket and screws allow for easy installation.
